In plastic gravure printing inks, benzene solvent inks account for a large proportion, while developed countries such as Europe and the United States clearly prohibit the use of benzene solvents in food packaging and printing. Flexible packaging inks can only use alcohol as solvents, mainly through new media such as environmental protection materials, ultra light earth and 3D printing. Because aromatics are suspected of causing cancer, they are not allowed to be used in printing inks such as food packaging and toys. The use of ketone solvents is also greatly restricted because of their strong odor. Therefore, in food packaging inks in Europe, America and other regions, the solvent residue is specified as ethyl acetate, and the content of isopropanol is not more than 5mg/m2. The food and Drug Administration of the United States clearly stipulates that the above six points are the repairable aspects of the plunger pump. As long as the type of adhesive and ink for food or drug packaging is not mentioned in the regulations, it is prohibited to use. However, in China's current food packaging bag standards, the solvent residue is required to be 10mg/m2, but the type of solvent is not clearly indicated; The recommended requirement for toluene is < 3mg/m2.
